Ugly interfaces are becoming a thing of the past. Motu continues the current trend of stylish desktop audio devices with their latest piece of recording hardware, the Track 16.
Boasting 16 channels of input (including 2 Mic, 2 Hi-Z and 2 Stereo line) and 14 channels of output with simultaneous effects and mixing features, Motu’s USB 2.0/ Firewire hybrid solution is as elegant as it is functional. Vitage effects processing and extras such as the audio analysis tools, such as the X-Y phase alignment plot and ‘waterfall’ style spectogram, round off an impressive feature list.
Motu’s pristine design style and diverse recording options ensure their products are always, at very least, credible. This particular interface seems like a no-brainer for anybody wanting professional quality and sleek design.
And the little things like an on board tuner and both quarter inch and eighth inch jack headphone outputs speaks volumes (if you’ll pardon the pun) of Motu’s attention to detail and attempts to make the producer’s life easier.
